Born at Waihi on the southern shores of Lake Taupo, Gus has lived and worked in the area all his life. He has fished Lake Taupo and its many tributaries and therefore has a wealth of knowledge of this wonderful outdoor paradise. Gus is a member of the North Island's largest Maori tribe, the Ngati Tuwharetoa. With his knowledge of the area he can make your trip on Lake Taupo a truly unique experience.
